NOTE
The unit is shipped well-packed and partially assembled in a wooden crate. Allow about 5-6 hours for final assembly. For further information, please feel free to reach out. You’ll need approximately 4.8 gallons of hydraulic oil to prepare the unit for use. HLP46 hydraulic oil is ideal and widely available. You’ll also need approximately 1 quart of motor oil for the engine. We recommend multi-purpose oil, either 10W40 or 15W40.

The quality is above what I expected and seems very capable for fairly serious work. The assembly instructions are simply not sufficient. U.S.A. distribution or those not familiar with metric sizing need a manual with inches. May seem petty, but would be helpful. Also the chain swivel locking mechanism is not sufficient for locking in place. The movement with chain in place needs to be a frame lock pin.

Thanks JANSENUSA! Customer service was great! I purchased this MB-360 and a crate was dropped into my small garage within a week, safe and sound. It came together nice with some leverage involved, and got it up and out of the garage easy. After topping off fluids, got right into digging up rocks and stumps. Got the grapple and plopped them into the trailer. Started ripping up the old pond and making drainage. Pushing boulders around on this rugged mountain. The MB-360 is holding up great and surprised by it’s stability on uneven terrain. The rotating table has been really helpful when navigating tight spaces.

The Jansen 360 has been more than expected for all of my property digging needs. I easily dug several 3’×3′ holes to start an orchard. Along the way i pulled several large boulders out, one of them easily weighing 1000 pounds+ that you can see on the Jansen Fb page in one of their posts featuring the 360. Maneuverability is simple with the once youve gotten a hang of it. My only con is the length (or lack thereof) of the trailer tounge. It is so short that the engine rubs my 4 wheeler plastics while towing, and actually cooked a portion of plastic from the hot exhaust. I will be chopping and welding square tubing to extend the length at least another 18″. Other than, definitly need some muscle or lifting equpiment for setup, but it is straight forward. All in all great machine, im happy with my purchase

This is a great machine! I love using it! It is very strong!! The design elements that attracted me to it have proven the value of the machine. I have used this machine for digging stumps, trenches, and holes for concrete piers. The robustness of the components was one design element that has impressed me beyond my expectations. Watching how much earth it moves while at the same time breaking tree roots is impressive. The cylinders and boom construction leave no doubt as to its ability to handle the work I need it to do. The frame is solid and towing it is easy. The engine starts very easily each time. FYI I do not use fuel with ethanol in my small 4 stroke engines and I only use high quality full synthetic oil in my engines. Another design element that attracted me was the full 360 degree swing. This is an extremely valuable feature. I can’t imagine using this machine without it. Managing dirt piles and maneuvering is much easier because of this. The battery has been very reliable. It has sat for months without use and then the engine cranks strong and starts. As for my experience as a customer, the ordering process was simple. All of my inquiries were answered. It may take a day or so, just be patient. This isn’t a fast food company. The quality of the shipping was also very good. The crate was very well built too. It isn’t difficult to assemble. The boom is heavy, so be prepared for that. Take your time putting it together. You won’t regret it. I look forward to many years of good use from this machine. I wish I’d had this many years ago!! Thank you!

Thank you Jansen! I wanted to review my mb-300 after owning it for a little over a year. Lee has been extremely helpful with anything I’ve needed (I decided i needed a ripper as well) and she makes it happen. I also dealt with the service department and they were also very helpful and worked with me to figure out the best solutions for both of us. I have roughly 100 hours on the machine at this point and have dug half of a basement in extremely rocky soil (ripper highly recommended!) and some septic lines, probably 30 holes to plant trees, cleaned out a bunch of ditches and built several new ones, this machine has impressed me and everyone who has seen it. I would absolutely buy it again tomorrow if something happened to mine.
