The BSF-13e Stump Grinder is not only engineered to be one of the fastest, strongest, and safest portable stump grinders available but it’s also designed with easy-to-use features for increased productivity and efficiency. This stump grinder will tear through any wood that you can put in front of it! It features a strong & reliable 14hp 4-stroke KOHLER engine in its commercial-grade design. The design reduced the cutter wheel weight and also made the carbide-hardened teeth individually removable.
We tested the stump grinder over a period of 100 hours and didn’t have to replace any of the teeth; even the drive belt remained technically and optically sound.
The grinding width is about 2 inches. The grinder has a safety switch (dead man’s switch) as well as a braking system. This allows the grinder to be fixed at the tree root while the machine is easily pivoted back and forth.
The side discharge design also allows smooth forward movement due to the cuttings being directed away from the machine and the cutter wheel.
The machine comes with a 3-year warranty on production defects. We have all the parts in stock.

Note: The device is delivered well-packed in a wooden crate. Shipping usually takes about 7-10 days for residential addresses. It can take up to 4 weeks in some rural areas. You should allow approx. 1/2 hour for final assembly. Assembly is really easy; you need approx. 2 quarts of engine oil for the engine. For this purpose, we recommend multi-grade oil of classification 10W40 or 15W40. Assembly instructions and an instruction manual are included. Can the teeth be sharpened?
Yes, but we do not offer a sharpening service.
Is the machine self-propelled?
No, but it is very well-balanced.
How big is the cutting wheel?
It has an 11” diameter cutting wheel. The cutting width is about 2”.
Can you replace the teeth individually?
Yes, there are 12 individually exchangeable carbide-tipped teeth.
How often do I need to grease the cutter head?
Every 10 hours. This is very important.
Do you have parts in stock?

Key Notes and Tips

Keep an eye on the belt tension. Tighten it when needed.
Make sure the center bolt on the clutch stays tight.
